Its amazing to almost be out of the shopping mode for gear, So many years on a quest,, film cameras, different lens,,
tripods ,, tripods,, tripods..

laughs ,, tripods are like shoes,, so hard to get the right one. the one that fits in a backpack, or the light weight but
strong enough for lens one, but not sturdy enough,, and then the more serious tripods.

I feel my full size tripods are in good shape,, but,, the travel ones are still an issue. kinda have it worked
out,, but not really,, I am still looking for the perfect light weight but strong enough design. I use
mostly Manfrotto only because I have so many of the connecting plates on the camera and on the
larger lens, I just bought a bunch, and have them always on the camera or large tele.

I actually don't use tripods all the time,, only when necessary,, I kinda find them a pain,, often
I have it on the camera, and I am so framing I'll use the tripod kinda like a handle. but still
hand held..

I get so used to walking around with the tripod attached, that I will walk all day,, and
barely noticed,,

but,, will say,, at the end of the day,, or when you sit down at say a restaurant,, feels
so good to put down the gear, its like walking around with a 10lb barbell,,

At first the barbell won't be heavy, but walk around all day..

I know I know that is why the C class mirrorless are getting so popular,, but,,
I am so used to the weight,, that I really don't notice.

Maybe someday,, when Nikon comes out with a full frame, 40 Million
Mirrorless camera,

but,, I kinda worry,, because I like looking at the REAL world directly withl
my eyes,, versus some computer controlled tiny TV that is changing
what the real image is.... save this topic for tomorrow blog..
