Summer is slipping away so fast... soon will have to be thinking of the fall pictures. I don't think I have yet captured summer yet, a few snatches here and there,, but the glorious days of summer are passing too fast this year to fully appreciate.
I feel more and more like that, its like grabbing small snips of time,, trying to catch an essence of the place/time/event.
One of the reason you have to know the gear, is because the events often just pass by, and without the gear at the right state,
well you miss. I shoot fully manual, so,, every shot is basically a process.
I suppose you could go in auto modes. but that would reduce the process even further for me. If I am in a hurry,, I'll have it in aperture priority mode.
so,, try to capture these last weeks of summer,, before we have to put on our fall coats (for those that live in the colder climates)
I wonder if photographers in tropical zones feel this same haste? rushing from season to season.
