I looked at some recent Landscape work of others,,, and it was more in the micro landscape,, lots of shallow dof,, water reflections
and other objects where the primary subject was in focus,, but so much was out of focus.
and it got me thinking of landscape, and well landscape,
The old time camera,, had amazing DOF,, and detail,, you can zoom in to small areas of the pictures, and still see faces, or building
details that we would still be jealous of today,,
but many of these photos,, with the shallow DOF, and such could have been taken anywhere, because the primary subject was
so isolated that the landscape around became abstract,, could have been next to a parking lot of a major box store.
and this does interest me because it widens the world more to what I am going to call Micro Landscape,, versus
maybe Grand Landscapes,,, where the setting/light is so important to the image, but also so much more rare to find.
