I have been thinking more about the DL and the modern SLR layout,, which well isn't really that different than the last generation of the old auto SLRs from NiIKON including
the information window on top,,
and frankly that is something I don't want to give up,, one of the features Nikon does not turn on is the light meter on top for the entry and mid range SLRs, and this
is the one feature I use all the time. I know you can use the info window on the back, but I just find it more convenient to glance ot top and grab the settings
right in 1 second, and I definitely use the light meter on top.
So, the new DL goes back to the mechanical, and loose the information window,, forcing one to use the view finder or info look.
I did get out last night,, a bit and today,, I have not edited today shots,
