added to a lens forum discussion today, always a big topic, after all, part
of the pleasure of SRLs are the fantastic lens.
looks over, sees that I have my 20-35 2.8 Nikkor on my 800 at the moment.
now that is one sweet lens . A clean copy runs about 550 dollars which is
almost a steal since this is a pro level lens. The fit and finish of this lens
was made when Nikkor was at its prime. Nice chrinkle metal finish, and the
optics are awesome. Many of my favorite shots used this lens.
I do confess that my newer 14-24 is being used more often,, but
for 550 dollars, I would highly recommend the classic 20-35 2.8.
Its almost the perfect balance of lens camera combo. Definitely
smaller than the current generation of pro zooms, although still
a tank.
I have two lens left in my list .
the current generation of 24-70 2.8,
and would like a tilt and shift lens.
