Why have a high pixel camera,, well, because sometimes you can crop and still get enough detail for a decent post,
here for example a shot of less then 20% of the original photo,, one that would be totally pixelated, and totally useless from my D700 or 7000, but with the D800
can still post a shot.
still enough for at least a web view, which otherwise would have been a wish.
