I am thinking of organizing by category,  and of course cost will limit the size. Selecting the photos is perhaps the hardest,  and one issue is that one cannot tune the photos until post the first draft. The one advantage of printing at home, is that one can test print, and then print up the final copy. What looks fine on a screen may not translate as well to print. Not a big deal on your local printer, but sending to a company and having a portfolio printed is more blind.
