So,, you guess it,,  replacing my 35-70 with ............... a 35-70 2.8..I love my 20-35 / 35-70 2.8 combo lens... for my D800.  I try other zoom combos,, but,, these two lens consistently produce the goods. maybe.. someday a 24-70 2.8,, but frankly,, I would rather invest in the 14-24 for something that extends my range, versus replacing what already works</blockquote>
