slowly,, slowly,, the lens disorder is starting to surface,, the one,, that thinks ... mmmm one more.
I really like the 24-85,, but I really had troupble focusing in manually during the fireworks, those G style free floating focos rings are just so sloppy,, not in issue in daylight, but when the dimness,, just did not work as well as some my other lens,,
in hindsite,, I should have used an old manual lens.. way more control..
but,, now I need to check out the 24-70 2.8,, but I think I will rent first, I want to check out the manual focus, this is an expensive lens..
oin the mean time, I might just try to find another cherry 35-70 2.8
yes, an old lens, I finnally wore mine out,, still works, but having issues with the autofocus,, This lens has produced so many sharp wonderful pictures
that I just think I need another one. I will look for an absolute mint one,, and spend the 400 dollars,, but compare to the quality of a new 400 dollar
lens, that will be a bargain.
