My nephew has the photography itch bad now,, I got him started with a D70,,, the perfect learning camera, and frankly a very nice camera in its own right,
the upgrade bug already hit,, as he took nicer and nicer pictures, and started to print, so,, he is so excited to move up to a D7000, as he should be, the perfect camera for his journey.
Of course, he is convinced that the camera will magically work wonders, when in fact the difference between the D70 results and the D7000 results won't be 100x as the name implies but incrementally better.
But, at least now he can meter the old glass which is definitely a huge plus, and can print large if he desires. Best of all, I have created another Nikon lover.
