Why my participation has been lacking

I have been preoccupied with medical appointments in the last several months. I just came back from M.D. Anderson medical Center in Houston with a 10inch incision in my groin area to remove some lymph nodes for testing and it is a exciting adventure getting around. I just wanted to let all my friends on the site know that this is why I haven't been as active in awhile. So if I don't get time to look at all your great pictures and click the "LIKE" button please don't take it personal, I just don't seem to have as much time to spend on reading posts and looking at all the fine images as I have had before all this came up again so please don't write me off over the next several months due to my lack of posting. I very much enjoy all the friendly people that I have met here and plan on being more active again as I am able to. Have a great day everyone...... Jeff Impey

All the best to you Jeff - sending you positive thoughts! I hope the lymph nodes turn out to be nothing more than lymph nodes.

Jeff, I'm wishing you all the best as you get over this hurdle. Main thing is that you heal up and find your normal again. I know you'll be back as much as possible as soon as possible.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers, they are very much welcome and appreciated. I was still in the hospital in Houston on Sunday morning until they released me. My wife was a real trooper and picked me up at the hospital and drove me all 450 miles home. We were fortunate to leave Sunday as Houston had a record rainfall and declared a state of emergency Monday. There are cars over there completely under water. Mine and everyones payers are working!!!!! Thanks, it is very comforting having friends that care!

As long as they didn't remove anything else from your groin area...if you know what I mean! Lol. ;) Seriously, a 10-inch incision sounds pretty extensive!

I heard about the flooding and how they called for a non-life threatening state of emergency. That is crazy weather! Two thumbs up to your wife for driving such a long distance to get you home safely. :encouragement::encouragement:

Good luck with your healing and be sure to rest. You obviously endured quite a bit with your surgery so just take it easy. When you feel up to it, we'll be here ready to hear more about how your healing is progressing. Until then...take care!

Get well as soon as you can Jeff and don't pay no never mine to us. We will be here when you are up to coming back and, in the meantime,we will leave a light on for you.
