We (the users) have full control in the size and quality of images we upload to sites such as this one. Part of doing so is understanding they are being uploaded to the internet for all to see and may indeed become part of image search results on sites like Google and Yahoo etc. If we have images we feel that strongly about, we can 1) not post them (not a viable option considering what this site is all about) or 2) post them and use a reduced quality and size or watermark them so they are not as attractive to stealing. If an image is licensed or 'sold' to another party as Art mentioned above, maybe I shouldn't upload another version of it on a site like this where it can be used. It's up to ME to control how I SHARE my images and understand they could be saved easily by someone else and I would have no control what happened to them after that. What it comes down to is personal responsibility. Sounds like John is working on another solution for us anyway :D
