Well, after 4 hours of Adobe "Support" (the last hour actually was) and three heart attacks later I finally have the problem solved and (I think) access to all the parts of my work flow I had before. Long story short, they said they had to uninstall everything Adobe - yes EVERYTHING Adobe - and install from scratch. After a promise that they wouldn't lose any of the various piece parts of my workflow that I've collected over a decade I was ready to kill when I was told, "I need to know what's missing", when I told them that NONE of my customizations were there. Toolbars, actions, links to 3rd Party software, presets - in both Photoshop and Lightroom. The guy said he couldn't put the stuff back without reintroducing the error. I erupted, and managed to get to the top of the food chain. No answer to what broke but at least now it ain't. I just need to make sure I don't empty the trash for a few days in case I notice something else they didn't put back.
