Message: <blockquote data-quote="Whiskeyman" data-source="post: 248987" data-attributes="member: 13556">Good point about the photo's orientation, Helene.I shot it in the vertical to get the most sky and reflections, as well as to not include a pair of cars parked on the street.  I don't think this location lends itself to a horizontal shot since it will be "cluttered" with a lot more houses and roadway.  I was looking down the long span of the pond; if I had shot across the short span, I might have taken the photo in landscape orientation.  In addition, I cropped it to eliminate some treetops that I thought hurt the overall composition.Thank you.WM</blockquote>
