Which Remote Control Should I Get?

I am new to DSLR photography and can't figure out which remote get. I want a remote control so I can set my camera up and go away so I don't scare wildlife. The 16' range of the Nikon is not far enough. I'd like it to go through walls also. Can someone recommend a remote? I don't want to spend more than I have to but also don't want to buy another remote in a month or two because it doesn't have the right features as I learn more about the camera. I have found two on bhphotovideo.com that seem like possibilities but from reading I can't tell the difference between them. The first is a lot cheaper so I'll get that if they're the same but I'm sure there must be some significant difference. Things like how many channels (I'm sure 99 is plenty), range, etc are close enough to not matter. Something may matter that's either not listed or I'm reading it and don't know what it is.

The two are:
Vello - FreeWave Wireless Remote Shutter Release for Nikon DC-2 Connection
Vello - Wireless ShutterBoss Timer Remote (Nikon DC-2 Connection)
I'm not necessarily limited to those though. It's just what I've found that looks like it fits the bill.

Thanks!

i have the vello freewave remote on my d5100 and have had no problems except, operator error. Whats nice is that it can be used as a wired or wireless remote. You need to setup your shot, all the remote does is trigger the shutter.

I was curious about wireless remote shutter releases for my D5100 so I went to amazon.com to look ate them. there are several for Nikon (Not BH Nikon) that have pretty good reviews and don't cost a fortune. I decided to buy one and low and behold I had reward points on hand so ended up only paying 44 cents for it including shipping. I really can't go wrong there. Will let you know how it works out.
