I like them both but the B&W version, really, is a lot of muted gray tones. I like to see B&W shots with a strong, high-contrast "pop" to them. Granted that's a personal taste thing, but there you have it. I also like the bold colors, and the contrast they have relative to one another, in the first shot... So, yeah, going with color this time.
Suppose i should have put my reason in,with the color version i find confusion as to where i should look, the area to the left of the light has interest where as in the BW version my eyes go from the light to the center of the picture.
Its just how i view images
I like the b/w version. It seems calm to me. The color version is a bit hard to look cos my eyes can't get focused on a point they're moving from the light towards to the left side of the pic and back.
