I think several things would be achieved at my ealry stage of learning by using stock photos: one is technical clarity and getting used to seeing what photos have made the cut - also I don't really have the time to go up a snow mountain to composite my grandson there! (said light-heartedly!) Lots of reasons to use stock photos with just as many reasons to build up my own bank of stock photos - which actually is happening right now. ;-)Eyelight - thanks for that.
