Maybe email to your phone and view. Its hard to imagine a write error making such a perfect error. I would expect something totally random or the file not recognized at all. When I have seen bars down the side of images, it has always been a software problem. It could be just in the viewing or maybe something did it during the copy and its permanent, but it does not seem like a hardware problem.
