This photo of Mrs. Ozarkite was taken on the spur of the moment. She puts up with my Photography whims, and she had just recovered her very first real doll she had when she was a little girl from among our *storage* area. Before this doll, she had paper dolls to "make believe' with. It is very fragile, and many memories surround it for her. This was in the late 1940's. She and her folks lived on a small farm, when she got the doll, and the sacrifice made to buy it for her was great. The story of her family's life on that farm would make a movie...as would so many others. We were high school sweethearts, and have been married 51 years this coming July. When I look at this picture, there is a lifetime of Great Joy, and Great Tragedy and more...I am sure you understand. This image is the most meaningful I have ever taken, or more than likely will ever take. This Forum's members are the most responsible for my learning to make my images portray the "inside my mind's eye" spirit of what I see through the viewfinder. I am at the point now that my photography is for my personal expression of what I see, and I really don't care what someone else thinks about it...I hope you take that in a good way. My thanks to all who have helped me, and Mrs. Ozarkite and I both hope you all have a Great 2015.
