So it new sensor is available then they may use it in their cameras.There is a lot more to a camera system than sensor. The whole data path starting from the sensor down to demosaiking and software is individual to each manufacturer. Notice how Nikon cameras are superior in many ways to Sony, even when they use the same Sony sensor.</blockquote>
