The file was too small to be able to make good adjustments, but you get the idea. As others have said, Lightroom sliders on shadows, contrast, clarity, saturation... Additional bump on blue saturation (sorry about pixelation) for sky.

in lightroom's develop module find basic then auto, click auto and see what that does and where the sliders moved to. Left side of the screen you should see lightroom general presets click "punch" and see what that does. Bottom right side is a reset click it and everything resets to the original file. Then go to google and search lightroom 5 develop module tutorials and spend days and weeks watch videos. Some of what they show you will eventually sink in. Good luck.

This crop doesn't work for me. You left too much of the upper half part of the shot, and you took out the foreground (water. ) I assume the bridge is the main point of interest here. There is nothing that leads my eyes to the bridge. if you would have left the water in the shot and took out the distracting trees in the top half of the shot, then we may have something to work with.

Another problem, is the lack of light. Your point of interest should be well lit, and easily noticeable.
Also the shot looks soft. With landscapes try to close the aperture down some. You are at f/4.5. Stop it down to at least f/8 or f/11. I will give it a try at showing you what I mean, but it is always difficult with these small file sizes. Sometimes the shot looks worse when someone tries to fix it then it did in the first place.

I just did a quick crop of how I would have done it, but could not do much PP with the small file size. If you can upload a RAW file or even a full size jpeg file to Dropbox, then we could download it and work on it for you that way.
