We've got a thread for your latest purchases, and one for purchases you regret. What about one where you highlight the purchase you're most pleased with.

As time goes on, and new purchases are made, it could change, I suppose...

So unless there is a thread on this subject elsewhere, let us know what photography gear and/or software you are most happy with. Post the name of your choice in the first line by itself, and then tell us more in the dialog field.

Honestly, the 600 body. Everything else is useless without the body. 24-85 got insane mileage and the zoom rubber ring is starting to warp, but without a good flash this lens cannot really keep up with my work.

I could list my D810, my 300mm f/4 or my Zeiss 135mm but if RAWTherapee wasn't that good, they'd not be as good either. I don't know if it counts as a purchase since it is free.

My pickup truck. Without it ,I'd be riding the bus with Miss Dolly Parton to photo shoots. She's much too classy for the bus!

My eyes even though I was born with them with out them I could not see or compose my photos, so anything after this would be wasted.

I can not help but saying my 500mm, it is old, it has it challenges (focussing, lens technique) but it allows to do pictures I thought were impossible.
