We all take photos of animals of all types that do not show all the critter, or show the critter in a less than expected view. The photographer will know what it is, but when other people look at it, they may not guess it immediately. I posted such a photo recently to my project 365 thread (I have reposted the photo below). I knew it was a deer, but without explicitly saying that, some people would not have immediately realized that. I thought the title, "Pesky Deer Flies" would explain itself. :) That made me think that a "what is it" thread was in order. We all have those photos stored somewhere. It's time we showed them! Please feel free to post your whatever it is critter photo here. The fun part is to see if people can correctly guess what it is. After a little bit, you can tell them what it is, especially if no one has been able to figure it out. To get things going, here is my first "Guess the Critter." Once you spot where it is, see if you can figure out more than just the family this fauna belongs to. What Am I? Have fun!!!!
