Message: <blockquote data-quote="D200freak" data-source="post: 518824" data-attributes="member: 41018"><p>For me it's about a balance of speed AND handling.  Much as I respect the efforts and substantial improvements GM has made in both the Chevrolet and particularly the Cadillac brands (and I own a CTS),  the car I really want to drive when not in commuter traffic is some variant of the 911.    Being closer to a beggar than a chooser,  I would be quite content with a base model Carrera if someone gave me one.   I'm not yet ready to tame the more savage breeds of 911.   Time in the Carrera would make me ready for an S model.  After that, 4S, then GTS, then Turbo, then GT3, then Turbo S, then GT3 RS.    I hope to get in some track time with each of them, pretty much in that sequence.</p></blockquote><p></p>
