Not "competing" as a photographer, in the marketplace or anywhere else that matters, I guess I find this article a little ridiculous. A photographer is only "overrated" when you personally give them more attention than they deserve. Who gives a flying fig if they have work, clients and gallery space?! Concentrate you your work, not theirs, because you never know just how many people are out their calling you "overrated".

Well....the networking part is true...but you have to be good to get those gigs. So the rest of the article and the title of it is a joke. I can't believe they would publish such rubbish. Must have been a boring news day!
Here is a perfect example. His photography is PURE CRAP but models I have worked with just rave over him. His page has a lot of nudity so it is NSFW
This is a very telling line from his intro "sharpness is overrated && so are your pretty pictures." Oh, and he is NOT a coach of anything, so I have no idea where he gets his name.
