I'm hoping with time it will improve as I get used to the weight again (have not done much photog the last 2 yrs). I have tried a monopod (no head, straight to the mount thread) but not keen on the restriction of a pole hanging below. Maybe If I bought a ball head for it, I would like it better. I have to push the ISO too... most of my bird shots are in shade. Ideally I'd love to get some shots out in the sun... just gotta get out and do it!!
