We watched a movie and read a book about him. Then we made some rice krispies treats. We wrapped the treats in foil and made some parachute's out of handkerchief's, just like the Candy Bomber did. We tied the treats to the parachute's, and sent our custodian up to the roof to throw the"Candy Bombs" off. The kids had a really great time learning about some history.
