I understand about the struggles with gear for a family member. My daughter is also into photography. Last year she decided she wanted to upgrade from her D5600. I was willing to get her into anything up to a Z8. She hemmed and hawed about one thing and another, and finally decided on a Z50ii. I was kind of hoping she would opt for one of the newer full frame models, but got her what she wanted. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised at how good the Z50ii is. I consider it a big step up from my old Z5, at least for wildlife photography.</p></blockquote><p></p>
