Very nice shot, but it looks like you missed one of the requirements for the weekly challenge. It needs to have been shot during the week of Mar. 23-30, 2016. I know you missed seeing that rule in the first post of this thread, because you posted the exif data and could have very easily posted a date that met the requirement. Thanks for your honesty. This mistake has been made by many, so don't feel bad about it. You have a little over 24 hours to submit a photo you took during the week.

It really seems I missed that requirement. Unfortunately I wasn't out for a shoot this week but I will follow up next contest.

The time for starting and stopping the weekly challenges is based on UTC time, not your local time. That is to keep everyone on the exact same starting and stopping times. For you, if you are on EDT, your local cutoff time was 8 p.m. 29 Mar. which is 0000 UTC 30 Mar. So to answer your question, yes you missed the deadline, but the new weekly challenge is now open. Another shot like the one you posted, only taken in this week, will fit the Purple challenge perfectly. Hope this helps.

This about the time rule makes me sometimes thinking. So, if I participate, I will wait two days before hitting the submit button a photo to be sure that I am on the safe side.
