Nice work. sorry for being brutal. but im simply writing how I feel. I feel its best to honest. here's the small things I dont like. -font-not my thing. could be more stylish/modern. u are also using 3 or more there. no need for so many fonts. -instead of art and uncategorized I think I would name it personal or something like that. so all the other pictures you have are not art? -the mouse over moving/resizing is meh. changing the color is fine but the resize/grow/shrink is a tad old style. and only the name of the category is moving, not the "photography" under every subject. -I would change the font color to a darker orange instead of grey (change the "photography" text as well) to visited areas. or even remove the "photography" because we can see its pictures. -I dont like the "I dont have a particular style" it sounds more negative than being open and honest as you are trying to sound. everyone has a style. you might not have honed it downed yet but that comes with time. when you look at pictures some speak to you and you say wow and some meh. but everyone has something they like. -no need to mention what your lenses are for. -All works © Sam Hay (Southwest Sam Photography) 2013. Do not copy, reproduce, distribute or publish without the expressed written consent of the © holder. "All works © Sam Hay (Southwest Sam Photography) 2013" thats enough. no need for the rest. whoever will want will copy whether you wrote it or not. -some will say its ok, some not, but me personally, I dont like seeing peoples pictures with their logo so big across the picture. just looks very unprofessional to me. if you want, then do a small Sam Hay in the corner with the copyright sign but it just detracts my eyes from enjoying the picture. much more elegant and with tact. I too have my name on photos, but its small and unobtrusive. if a person wants to steal it, he will. so the big name on it doesnt deter. its just ruining it for all the others who want to enjoy looking at it. ad there are more of them then those who want to steal. think of a painter, they always sign it small in the corner not across the whole picture in huge typing. again sorry for being brutal I have to say it like I see it. A lot of people try to be kind and not to tell the truth like it really is because they dont want to hurt the persons feeling. but I have to be honest. im not rude, I just dont feel like rounding off the corners to soften the blow.
