My checklist (from Nikon USA): Read directions and "About webcam utility" ??? Windows 10 64bit (32 bit not supported, other versions not even mentioned) ??? Using a USB cable X D5500 is supported X Nikon tested with your conferencing apps X I just installed it on my PC with my D5300 with 1.03 version of the firmware and it worked right away on Zoom. I turned off the camera and I have the mirror image of Nikon Webcam Utility. I had the camera on, ready to go when I brought up Zoom, signed in and switched the camera from the PC to the D5300. This order MAY be important! The order when I use the Nikon WMU app on my Android is important! Things to try: Blow out the ports that you plug the cable in to. Use a different USB to A/V out cable (that is what my cable is connected to), even if it has never been used. Try a different USB port on each PC. Test live mode on the camera and take a pic, not connected to the PC. Use an AF S lens if you have one, it should be totally compatible. Try a different lens to try to rule that issue out. Make sure the battery is fully charged. The memory card should be out of the loop, but not guaranteed. If you get the Nikon Webcam Utility logo, the Nikon software should be working with the virtual meeting program. I think there is a connection issue. I looked in my menu, and didn't see anything for the A/V out, to turn on and off, maybe the D5500 is different. Welcome to the forum! Stop by the new member introductions and say hi!
