Do the nikon DSLRs have some protection or are you taking a serious chance of ruining your camera when out in say a mild rain? I'm asking this because I just saw a photo of a nikon with water drops on it, and before that I assumed that rain was a big risk. I've been careful not to take my D3100 outside even if it was sprinkling, so as not to risk damage to my precious nikon. So what is the verdict?
