Thanks everyone but to be honest I didn't think mine was anywhere near the best, in fact with the quality of bird photographers on this site I didn't even think it would be worthwhile entering 😲

Don't sell that image short. It has a lot going for it. The major component being mood. And don't forget, it is very difficult to have a good image of a bird from behind.

There were some excellent entries by all.
