You know there is one thing that I have noticed over the last little bit that has really amazed me and that is the virtual silence of the focus motors in the S lenses used on my Z6. I have the 50, 24-70 f4, and the 85 S lenses and when I hit the focus button it is silent. There is no whir or buzz or any motor noise at all. When I use the silent shutter at Church and things are really quiet like before a baptism I do not disturb the mood at all. I cannot say that about the D700. When I use the D700 it is now very objectionable. The quiet is almost a bit spooky... :D
