[QUOTE="magzsurf, post: 823375, member: 53525"] Hello to all browsing by.... This one is doing my head in. I've used ViewNX since the dawn of time with my initial D90 and now into the D850 & Z9 years. With my last upload from a recent photo shoot comprising of over 200 shots, the software shows the pictures overdarkened and in high contrast, despite the same photo in the film strip below it in Image Viewer or with Win11 media player/picture viewer being totally normal and with perfect colour/light balance. I experimented with earlier uploads that have been processed just recently without drama and it appears, they are all affected. So it is obviously a setting in the software. I've uninstalled the software and then reinstalled it with no change to the photo presentation. I searched everywhere through the Menu option and Online help, to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am reluctant to give this program the boot in a forlorn attempt to find something better (for free) if such software does indeed exist...
