Message: <blockquote data-quote="Whiskeyman" data-source="post: 746887" data-attributes="member: 13556">Thank you, Marilynne.  Please send my warmest regards to Chris, from one veteran to another.  While this is Veterans Day, as a veteran, I also take time to thank the close family members of veterans as well; especially those who encountered extended separations during service.  My children are now all adults, and are just beginning to tell me what and how they felt and what they encountered during my deployments.  Through it all, my wife stood tall at home, through blizzards to hurricanes, taking care of everything at the "home front".  My Mom and Dad endured the stress of my military service, as well.  (I remember hearing my Dad cry twice in my life, once when his mother died and the other when I called him one time to tell him I was deploying.)  Wayne</blockquote>
