The only problem I had wasn't with the remote but with the live view focusing on the 7100. Love that camera but don't understand why they set up the liveview focusing that way. One of the very few things about it that I'd change if I could. Never bothered me before because I always shoot through the viewfinder but shooting wildlife with the tripod and using the remote it would be nice to be able to see the screen from a distance and know that you were in focus. May be a way to do that but I haven't figured it out yet if there is. I'll do some more experimenting tomorrow and see if there's a work-around.</blockquote>
