Using a new keyboard

We can have two versions here, Azerty or Qwerty. If you're used to the one and for some reason switch to another, it takes ages before it no longer annoys.

Want to get a totally different keyboard try one of those ergonomical ones like the MS 4000 -
Keyboard: Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 | Microsoft Hardware

I was having some pain in the hands and was told to try this out - totally weird first little while - gave it a month of daily office use - now I would not go back. Indeed just replaced my original one with a new one. I use it at the office. At home I have a mechanical (CM-Storm) gaming keyboard. Really wish there was a gaming ergonomic one but no one makes one. I type a lot at work and not so much at home so it is OK. IF you type for hours at a time, consider going ergo if you want to avoid corporal pain.

It will take a few days at least to get accustomed to using an ergonomic keyboard. Once you do though, you'll never want to go back and your wrists and elbows will thank you for it. Having gone "ergo" years ago, I won't work for any real length of time on anything else. I only wish there was a larger selection of (reasonably priced) ergo's on the market; none of the ones I've tried have had everything I want, mainly good keystroke feel, but the MS keyboards come the closest for me.
