[QUOTE="dieselnutjob, post: 717131, member: 47318"] Sometimes a Nikon D750 is just too big, like maybe if you are going to a social gathering of some kind. So today I picked up a Sony NEX-6 with the tiny Power Zoom 16-50 for £228 with six month warranty from a camera shop. It was a bit more than I wanted to pay but you don't get to pick up and play with a camera, see if it fits in your pocket, nor get a warranty from ebay. I thought I was going to get one on ebay for £160 but the seller started mucking about/ I have 14 days to return this one for a refund if I don't like it. Anyone got any tips on the NEX-6 ? I did look at the A6000 but they are twice the price with the same lens, and the NEX-6 has a higher res EVF. The 16 Mpixel APC-S sensor is sort of the same pixel density as the 24 Mpixel FX sensor of the D750 so comparison will be interesting. The sales guy did make a good point that fixed focal length cameras like the Fuji X100 sometime can achieve the same zoom as the NEX-6 because the lense and sensor are that much better that you can crop in and get just as good a result as zooming on the NEX-6. But then for this kind of price you can only get the early X100 which is 12 Mpixel. I remember when the NEX series first came out and what a cool thing it looked. Itch scratching initiated...
