Just got an update from Adobe for Creative Cloud. Lightroom version 5.5 and a new version of Photoshop. I think it's nice that they've been updating things, but here's a little rant. What I got this morning is now called Photoshop CC 2014. It seems to have supplanted Photoshop CC, but I still have a link to PS CC in the Dock on my Mac... ...and I can pull PS CC up in parallel to PS CC 2014. What the new install doesn't do, and here's my bitch, is connect all the software hooks from things like onOne & Nik/Google... PS CC PS CC 2014 At least it migrated over my workspace preferences. Is it that hard to carry over the hooks? Nik's been updated twice since I joined CC, and onOne once. At least give me a list of the various plug-ins and hooks that used to be there but aren't any more. And btw, I've installed Nik and CC 2014 picks it up fine. onOne Perfect Photo Suite 8? Not so much - it doesn't recognize the PS CC 2014 software as something it should install into. Nice... Not!! Thankfully I still have the link to PS CC if I need to use Perfect Effects until they fix it.
