The mind is really good at smoothing over blemishes and such. Skips details that we don't see as important. If most of these people ran into her on the street I doubt most would have noticed what they are seeing in the image.Even the greats in the film days spent years learning to manipulate their negatives to get what their minds saw. So why are people shocked now? Cameras don't lie. You can't hide from them. But I would rather see what the photographer saw in his viewfinder...instead of what the camera</blockquote>
