I don't use NXi, so I don't know how it installs.

I can't use NX2 because it crashes with my D810 files on my Win 10 machine. I'd love to keep using it, it was easy, fast, clean etc. Sadly it only crashes at random times too and I cannot figure out why. I'm on a great specced machine, super video card, excellent memory etc..

Can you run it under the Compatibility Mode in Win 10? I'm not upgrading, so I don't know how to do that in Win 10.

I don't think it's Win 10 that is the problem but rather my D810 files as I never had any issues w/ it when I was shooting w/ just my D300.

According to Nikon, ViewNX2 is compatible with the D810.

I hear ya, but in practice it's creating errors when I try and run it w/ my D810 files. It is completely stable when I am processing my D300 files.

I'm in the same boat as nx2 isn't compatible with 10. I've been in contact with nikon to get nxi to install and there hasn't been a solution yet. Following this to see if someone has the fix.

I also had this problem, go to program manager and delete it from there, good luck..

Isn't Capture NXD the successor to Capture NX2? Maybe try using NXD instead...

I'm hoping to get nxi for the transfer feature. Unless I just can't find that option in nxd.
