Is anyone using an ultra wide computer monitor? If so, could you share your experience as to format, space requirement, getting everything dialed in and such.

As a side consideration, to everyone about 2K, 4K and such. Is anything above 1920 x 1080 resolution going to be a let down?

Another side consideration, calibration.

And another side consideration, does any improvement involving displays hurt or hinder us color blind folks? Mute point?

I've got a 27" Apple with the 4K screen - it's veeeeeery nice... sooooooo sharp .... I love it. Acres of screen space - wonderful for Photoshop CC 2015... wouldn't go back to a small screen now for anything... I just tap the "command" plus the "+" or "-" key depending upon what size script etc I feel like...(although sometimes it's so large I feel like I'm at a tennis match - my head is turning from side to side)... this was my first foray into "Apple" computers and it took a while to get used to their way of doing things but now I'm all set up and love using it.
Not sure about colour blindness - not a problem I have (thanks goodness) so I can't help you there... I haven't had it colour calibrated (as yet) but may do when I decide my pics are good enough to do some large prints...
cheers
