Hey folks! Today I took advantage of the one day this week when it hasn't been overcast or rainy and went to the Gold Coast Railroad Museum. It was really relieving to be in such a wide open space. It's hard to find that in this city, it seems.

Being a weekday, the museum was all but deserted. As it turns out, I really enjoyed walking around with just the sound of my shoes on the gravel and dirt as company. Maybe I'll take up hiking.

Anyway, I know people don't have the time to go critiquing others' entire photo album, however, I was wondering if you could take a quick peek at mine and see if anything stands out as being terrible, or good! I picked up photography about a year ago. So far, I've only read Understanding Exposure, however I have the Art Of Photography on it's way as I type this.

Here's the gallery link. Am I doing this wrong with the whole gallery request? Thank you in advance for your insights.

Full disclosure: the first two paragraphs are from my blog, which is external to this site (obviously, lol)

Uh oh, Rick...it seems that we have another railfan among us! Welcome to the club, we have hats!

I spent some time browsing through your gallery. One thing I can say for certain is that you seem to be attracted to lines, shapes, and symmetry. I'm curious if architectural photography interests you at all? I think you would thoroughly enjoy a trip to downtown Miami to photograph some buildings.

Yeah I think so too, as I was out and about today I saw a pair of huge power lines hugging the road. If I wasn't in such a rush I would have pulled over to get some shots of them converging in the distance. Anything mechanical or visually complex is really intriguing to me.

I am trying to get downtown this weekend for that very same reason, as a matter of fact.

Thanks for checking out my gallery, it means a lot.

You've got allot of nice shots! But a bit too much to critique at once. Looks like a great spot for some HDR work!

Pick one! =)
