Message: <blockquote data-quote="BackdoorArts" data-source="post: 140921" data-attributes="member: 9240"><p>Nice photo.  I'm another who isn't so taken by the haloning.  I saw the same in your Bonsai photo and assume it must be a Snapseed artifact.  I've used that on my iPhone but never on DSLR images.  It's cool for what it does - fast interesting edits.  But I think it falls well short of what you would want for this type of photography.  I hate to say it, but it has an Instagram quality to it - and I mean that in the best of all possible ways, for there are a lot of really good photographers on Instagram, but it looks like you could have shot it with a camera phone with this edit.  If you could achieve the same tonality without the halo I think it would be a great photo.</p></blockquote><p></p>
