I was actually straddling it and lying on my stomach on top of it to get the perspective I wanted. I guess the flip side is that it made the vertical posts disappear, giving the appearance of a pipe running the length of the room, lol. There was that same handrail in the first photo also, but I leaned far enough over to get it out of frame. In retrospect, perhaps I should have left it in to create a stronger line.
