tamron sigma and tokina are all in full speed ahead with quality lenses. this is the kenko page AT-X 24-70 F2.8 PRO FX|高橋良輔視点 - Tokina and the translated page https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.kenko-tokina.co.jp%2Ftokina%2Fatx24-70.html&edit-text=&act=url all the images look pretty nice but for me specifically those shot at 2.8-4 are the most critical and looking at the full image, its quite impressive. I dont believe these werent touched. so I take it with a grain of salt. my fear as is with tokina glass is flare and loss of contrast in certain situations. the image that looks problematic to me is the image with the bucket of flowers. looks iffy with the blur and busy bokeh. no stabilization and at $1250, it better be excellent with IQ and AF speed/acuuracy cuz that tamron sells for that much and is an excellent lens. not sure if it will be this way but zoom is canon style also 82mm filter thread and weighing a kilogram. weight and heft doesnt bother me though. max mag. ratio is 1: 4.73 which is nice. if anyone has links to reviews, please post them.
