Tokina 11-20 lens sample pics for feedback

I just received the Tokina 11-20 this evening and took some quick pics to see if it's ok. I'll check again tomorrow but i'm pretty sure i ran out of adjustment on focus tune at -20. If not it is very close. So, considering i most likely will have to return it i thought i would ask for some feedback from other uwa owners as to the quality of the images. Never had a wide angle before and not sure what to expect in terms of IQ considering distortion, etc. Seems to me like it needs to be cleaned up quite a bit in post. Maybe that is normal for a uwa lens.

Cloudy evening / light rain, tripod, remote release. file 4593 and 4594 were -20 lens tune (focus on front leaf with hole in it), the rest are at 0 tune.
If i can't get focus tune i'm still not sure yet whether i'll get an exchange or go another route, so i appreciate any feedback i can get.

I downloaded #4587 and yeah, I thought it looked a little soft right off the bat. Some quick and dirty post-processing has it looking pretty good, though. I also noticed this particular shot was taken with a shutter speed of 1/8; were you hand holding or using a tripod for this shot?
