Taken just a few moments ago, this is what's outside my windows. You probably can't see the wind blowing, but believe me, it is! and it's damn cold! brrrr! :( -26C with the wind chill. D300 with 35mm 1.8 in Aperture mode.

Wow! What a sight. I guess I should consider myself lucky to have a better weather at 45 deg F or 8 dec C. I was already complaining that it was too cold and had to wear a light jacket. :D

Brrrr! My mom told me how cold it got where she grew up in White Court Alberta when she was a little girl! Lol :D
So I believe you for sure! Brrrrr! Lol :D

This was supposed to be our last nice day before a bitter cold snap comes through here. Nice is a relative term as the wind screamed all last night and today along with the ground blizzards from the snow already on. Al least it was above freezing.

Yes she was, and then she became a US citizen sometime after she married dad. That was all before my time and I'm sorry to say she passed away a few years back.

But I did get to visit White Court once when I was kid, though it was mid summer I believe when I was there. :D
Yup...and White Court is farther north than Calgary! :)

So...your mom's a Canadian, eh? :)

Oh Jeez! Sorry to hear that about your mother, Bill. :(
I was married to an American girl back in '71. Had two boys, both born in a Queens, NY hospital. I almost became an American, but I got divorced before that happened, so I came back to Canada. :)

Thank you my friend.Yes I miss her a lot. I wish she could have seen me get married. I think she would have really loved that.:)
Well we shouldn't try to depopulate Canada, not intirely anyway! Lol :D
If I hadn't been disabled I wanted to move there. But that's the way things go sometimes. :)
