Took me an extra 45 minutes yesterday to get home because I kept seeing great photo opportunities and just couldn't help myself.

For nothing more than a couple handfuls of grass, I made a new friend. :D

Oh yeah, he was my willing to follow me anywhere. The danger of shooting with a 300mm lens is that you need a warning sign saying,

*Warning Things in this lens is closer than you think* :)

Bring some bread next time and he will become your best friend! Watch the ears on a horse as they will tell you whether or not you need to get out of dodge!!!

Some folks get up every day to go to work -- I like to think of my job as getting up everyday and going for a ride in the country.
This morning's view from my front office window of the Crazy Mountains.

Ahhhhh,,, Alaska. Love that country. The wife and I lived there the summer of '79.

What is wild about these pictures is that this is June and there is that much snow still.

We have mountains in Vermont (the Green Mountains); but they are hills compared to the mountains in Montana and Alaska. I do miss the mountains out west!!!
